Did You Know Your Library Has a YouTube Channel?

With the change in the way we must provide services in this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, White Oak Library District staff revived our YouTube channel to provide virtual programming to our communities (and the world). So far, we’ve recorded and posted:

  • Storytimes for kids with books publishers allow us to film and post. The caveat is that we may only keep them live for a specific period of time, most for one week.
  • Crafts for kids, teens, and adults you can make at home out of your own supplies and some, “Take & Make” crafts. These are craft projects in which you come to the library, pick up a kit with most of the supplies, and take it home to make using the instructions in the kit and/or the video on our YouTube channel

We have more virtual program videos for all ages in the coming months that we’ll post to our YouTube channel. We would greatly appreciate it if you, our patrons, would subscribe, rate, and share our videos. You can find virtual & in-person programs on our online programming calendar.

What kind of virtual programs would you like to see your library create? Please leave your ideas in the comments.
