Book Review: The Bone Witch (Bone Witch #1) by Rin Chupeco

The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco

Deserves the stars for creativity and world creation alone. Essentially it seems like the author took the concept of Geisha, the Hindu religion, Muslim, Asian, and European culture and smooshed them altogether to create this world. Haha, which sounds terrible but Chupeco managed to really pull it off quite nicely. The characters were interesting and well-rounded, the concept of magic and heartglasses is incredibly interesting, and Tea is a bracing, and moving girl. I can’t wait for the sequel.

Rating: 5 out of 5.
