Play Nature BINGO @ Your Library!

Currently, at the White Oak Library District we have a fun activity that you can do at your own speed: Nature Bingo! Bingo boards can be picked up at any of our three locations and the game is open to all ages.

The game runs until February 15th and invites you to go out (or just stay inside your house or your car because it’s a little chilly out there) and see what there is to see in your own backyard and beyond. Once you’ve found five animals in a row, cross them out and come in and get a prize! (While supplies last!)

The whole nature thing got us librarians thinking though. Here are some of our favorite books about the outdoors, the woods, animals, and what-not to inspire you to go out (or not, stay in, it’s cold, we get it) and discover nature.
