Meet the Staff Monday with Hannah Sian

Hannah started at the White Oak Library District in January 2017. She is a Circulation Clerk in the Circulation Services Department at our Romeoville Branch.

What are your top three favorite books of all time? To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, Call the Midwife by Jennifer Worth, and Becoming by Michelle Obama

Do you have any pets? I have a white, 6 year old, miniature toy poodle named Chewy

What is your favorite thing about working at the Library? I love interacting with so many different types of people and also helping them find things/ answering their questions. I also love people watching (but not in a creepy, stalker way!!) and this job is perfect for that!!

What’s your favorite food? Anything potatoes

What’s your favorite color? Orange

What do you like to do in your free time? Read

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you travel, and why? Scotland so I can pet and brush all the highlander cows.

What is one cool fact about you? I’m a big fan of Justin Bieber and Gregory Peck.

Amy is the Crest Hill Branch Manager and Editor of White Oak Blogs. She has worked for the District since November 28, 2011. She loves to read fiction, most especially cozy mysteries, nonfiction craft books, and self-improvement books. She is an animal welfare advocate, and especially loves Chihuahuas, Pitbulls, & Chimpanzees. Her favorite type of music is punk, and her favorite band is The Clash - The only band that ever mattered.
