White Oak Library District closed due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

WHITE OAK LIBRARY DISTRICT CLOSED
DUE TO COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS)

Due to the continuing health and safety concerns surrounding Coronavirus (COVID-19), and the safety of our patrons and staff, we’ve made the tough decision to close all three Branches in Crest Hill, Lockport, and Romeoville effective immediately. We plan to reopen at 10:00 am on Monday, April 6, 2020 with the following exception: We are open as polling centers Tuesday, March 17 from 6:00 am – 7:00 pm.
  • All programs, events, meeting room reservations, and Outreach Services are cancelled.
  • Library staff are working to notify all customers about the cancellations.
  • All library materials will be due back on Monday, April 6.
  • All physical items currently on our hold shelves, and others that may come in while library staff work shortened shifts, will be held until Saturday, April 11.

  • Check out our digital collection to access eBooks and eAudiobooks.
  • Check out our Biblioboard offerings in which you can browse digital curated collections on a variety of topics including literature, art, and history as well as self-published works from authors in Illinois and nationwide.
  • Use our eResources to learn work on your genealogy, get health information, find books to readand more!
  • Use our online program calendar to find activities for all ages after we reopen.
