Welcome to Romancing the Stacks. This is a series of reviews featuring one of my favorite genres: Romance Novels! Nothing is better than curling up with a good romance. This review will explore The Total Package by Stephanie Evanovich.
I picked up this book as I was looking for books I read before on my Goodreads page and notice I read two books in the series but not the third one. The summary sounded good. A guy coming back from his downfall meets the girl of his dreams. I was not a fan of the first book in the series, but loved the second one.

Book Review:
Not a fan of this sports star romance. The reason for Tyson’s addiction seems downright pathetic. His dad left his mom once the son become famous, so Tyson blamed himself thus doing drugs. We are told he has a good relationship with his mom and sister, but where were they when he was an addict? Why didn’t he think of them before drowning his sorrows in booze and drugs? It took a billionaire only interested in getting a ring to help get him sober. And Dani is what I hate in a heroine. The typical “I’m not like other girls”, “I want nothing from you”, while trying to sleep with the guy. Also this story is where she’s pregnant and doesn’t tell the guy for years. To be honest Tyson was a jerk and just left after they first slept together. Also he got super mad when he figured it out. He had no right to be mad. He left with no way for her to contact him. I failed to feel the connection that every other character stated was there. Tyson never redeemed himself for how he treated Dani in the beginning, and Dani was just pathetic. I was more interested in the side story of an upcoming football player with a secret that turned out to be sweet. I did enjoy seeing characters from the second book in this series. They felt the same as in their book. This is not a bad romance book, but it is not the type of romance I like.
