Who is your favorite author of all time?
That’s tough! I’d have to say either Ally Carter or Brandon Sanderson.
What genres can our patrons quiz you about to find the best books to read?
I read a lot of thrillers, but also spend a fair amount of time reading heist novels, fantasy, and science fiction!
Do you have any pets?
Yes! Two cats – they’re brothers – named Sam and Dean!
What is your favorite thing about working at the Library?
Easily our patrons. We have so many fantastic patrons that I’ve met through programs or talking about books – everyone here is so much fun to engage with.

Macaroni & Cheese topped with BBQ Pulled Chicken and Bacon

What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy painting, archery, reading, going for walks at the Chicago Botanic Gardens, planting succulents, and cuddling with our cats – Sam and Dean.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you travel, and why?
I would go to Italy! I was a Greek & Roman Studies and History double major in college, so I would love to explore the places I spent so much time reading and writing papers about!
What is one cool fact about you?
I’ve kept a Lifetime Reading List since my freshman year of high school, where I write down every book I read. It’s been incredibly helpful when I can’t remember the title of a book I’ve read. I’m able to just flip through the list and find it!
