Crest Hill Branch’s 1st Annual Volunteer Fair a Success!

Over one hundred patrons streamed through the doors of White Oak Library District’s Crest Hill Branch on Saturday, April 14, 2018 for their inaugural Volunteer Fair. Attended by adults, teens, and children alike, visitors to the fair met with representatives from 17 local community organizations in need of volunteers. By exploring the different groups in attendance patrons were able to learn exactly what they would be doing as volunteers, ask questions about age requirements, discover minimum time commitments expected, and select the organization that was a perfect fit!

Missed the Volunteer Fair, but still want to get involved??  Check out the organizations in attendance below! Give them a call or click on the organization’s name to link to their website!
