Not great with favorites, but…each of these have all left profound effects on me. Or is it “affects”?
- “A Wrinkle in Time” by Madeleine L’engle
- “Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail” by Cheryl Strayed
- “The One and Only Ivan” by Katherine Applegate
Who is your favorite author of all time?
One favorite I am sure of: Neil Gaiman.
What genres can our patrons quiz you about to find the best books to read?
None because I used to be a teacher and I do not like quizzes. See what I did there? But seriously, ask me anything and I will do my best. I love to help.
What are your top three favorite bands?
Okay…I was a music major at one point, so this question always haunts me. There are far more than 3, not to mention solo artists, but here are bands I love: Air, Wilco, and Broken Bells. (Captain Beefheart if one is in the right mood. Because what is it, amiright?)
Do you have any pets?
Leesi is my cat and wins at cuddling
What is your favorite thing about working at the Library?
There are books here! And I love to share them with children, of course

All of the above. I’m working on that…

Any shade of blue!
What do you like to do in your free time?
Spend time with my family & friends, play piano, listen to music, dance, watch movies and stand-up, photography, travel, cuddle with Leesi, make my husband laugh, write, and READ.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you travel, and why?
Italy! I have been there before, I’m Italian, and once is not enough!
What is one cool fact about you?
I am quite musical and taught myself to play the piano by ear.
